Trout Unlimited is the nation's leading coldwater conservation group. Their mission is to bring together diverse interests to care for and recover rivers and streams so our children can experience the joy of wild and native trout and salmon. They do this through a powerful network of 400 local chapters, a nationwide staff of conservation leaders, and the largest fly fishing and coldwater conservation youth program in the country, the Headwaters Youth Program.

The TU Costa 5 Rivers program is a nationwide network of conservation-focused college fly fishing clubs. Started over a decade ago through a partnership between Trout Unlimited and Costa Sunglasses, the program brings the values of community, conservation, and fishing to over 80 college campuses across the country. 

Fish for Change offers one-week summer fly fishing expeditions to Honduras, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Costa Rica, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for the outdoors. These immersive experiences include conservation work with local groups, scavenger hunts, homestays, and guide apprenticeships—fostering hands-on learning and real connections.

Our ultimate goal is to inspire a new generation of environmentally conscious, confident young anglers ready to make a meaningful impact on the world.
